The First DeepTech Connect International Conference 2026, DEEPTECH CONNECT 2026, will be organised simultaneously at 8 university locations, April 24, 11 – 15h CET time, as in person event at these locations, online networking between all participants and visitors and presentation of available PhD programs at these universities:

- University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

DEEPTECH CONNECT 2026 Conference will present the research capacities of universities, promote deep-tech research, inspire students to pursue PhD studies through meetings with research groups and industry, and foster networking that leads to new collaborations, innovation, and commercialization of research, including startup creation.
DEEPTECH CONNECT 2026 Conference will be organised simultaneously at 8 university locations, 11 – 15h CET time, as in person event at these locations and online networking between all participants and visitors.
Conference participants WILL NOT HAVE ORAL PRESENTATIONS of submitted papers; instead, they will present exclusively in a fair-style exhibition format, including physical models, prototypes, posters, or computer simulations.
The Conference is open to presenters, students, companies, and visitors, connecting students, researchers, and innovators to transform deep-tech science into real-world impact.
A BOOK OF PROCEEDINGS will be published after the Conference and promoted on international platforms.
Participation at Conference is FREE, funded by the A-SIDE project this year.

Scope and Topics
We invite submissions addressing, but not limited to, the following topics:
– advanced materials and manufacturing
– aerospace, including drones
– artificial intelligence and machine learning
– biotechnology and bioengineering
– blockchain
– Web 3.0
– electronics
– photonics
– quantum computing
– robotics
– semiconductors (microchips)
– sustainable green energy and clean technologies
– entrepreneurship and innovation
Both fundamental and applied research contributions are welcome, including interdisciplinary and cross-sector project outcomes.
Submission Types
The conference welcomes the following submission type:
– Short Scientific Papers (4 pages in total), including research articles, bibliographic studies, short reviews, case studies and other forms of scientific papers
– Presentation of Projects (up to 4 pages in total)
– Company / Startup presentations (up to 4 pages in total)
All submissions must be original and not previously published. All submissions will undergo peer review. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
